DMCA Policy

1. What We Can Act On

We can process DMCA takedown notices for content that is directly hosted on Goonru's servers, which currently includes:

• Scripts and written content uploaded to the Goonru marketplace
• Profile images and avatars uploaded by users
• Any other files directly uploaded to and stored on our platform

2. What We Cannot Act On

We cannot process takedown requests for content hosted on third-party platforms. For content on external sites, please contact those platforms directly:

• Images or videos served from external booru sites, image boards, or content platforms
• Content on sites that Goonru's tools allow users to browse or search
• Any media not stored on Goonru's own servers

3. How to Submit a DMCA Takedown Notice

To submit a valid DMCA takedown notice for content hosted on Goonru, send an email to dmca@goonru.app with the subject line "DMCA Takedown Notice" and include all of the following:

1. Identification of the copyrighted work — describe the original work you claim has been infringed, or provide a link to where it can be found
2. Identification of the infringing material — provide the specific URL(s) on Goonru where the infringing content is located
3. Your contact information — your full name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address
4. Good faith statement — a statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
5. Accuracy statement — a statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf
6. Signature — your physical or electronic signature

Incomplete notices may not be acted upon. We will respond to valid notices within 5–10 business days.

4. Counter-Notice

If you believe your content was removed in error, you may submit a counter-notice to dmca@goonru.app including:

1. Your physical or electronic signature
2. Identification of the material that was removed and its location before removal
3. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed by mistake or misidentification
4. Your name, address, and telephone number
5. A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court in your district, or if outside the US, any judicial district in which Goonru may be found

Upon receipt of a valid counter-notice, we will forward it to the original complainant. If no legal action is filed within 10 business days, the content may be restored.

5. Repeat Infringers

In accordance with the DMCA and our Terms of Service, we maintain a policy of terminating accounts of users who are repeat infringers. We reserve the right to terminate any account at our discretion upon receipt of multiple valid DMCA notices.

6. Abuse of the DMCA Process

Submitting a false DMCA notice is a violation of the DMCA and may expose you to legal liability, including damages and attorney's fees. We reserve the right to seek remedies against parties who abuse the takedown process.
